About Us

At The Hebden College of Dance, our programme is designed to train the next generation of performers and dance teachers, combining high-quality practical training with a strong focus on education, professionalism, and personal development.

Our Faculty

Highly Qualified Industry Professionals

Our teaching faculty are highly qualified industry professionals who are passionate about developing every student's technical ability, artistry, and confidence. Between them they hold 10+ years of performance and teaching experience.

Our faculty hold BA (Hons) degrees in Professional Dance and Level 4 Teaching Diplomas, and all teachers are Acrobatic Arts certified. In addition, our team are trained through Royal Ballet Inspire, are First Aid qualified, and hold enhanced DBS checks.

Their role extends far beyond delivering classes. They carefully monitor each student's progress, support technical development, nurture performance quality, and help students grow both personally and professionally within a vocational environment.

Our Campus

Purpose-Built Studios in Peterborough

The Hebden College of Dance Post-16 Campus offers a focused and inspiring environment designed specifically for young performers. We are located at Peterborough One Retail Park, with five bespoke studios across The Hebden School of Dancing and The Rehearsal Room, supporting high-quality training while encouraging independence, professionalism and confidence.

The campus is a vibrant hub for technique classes, rehearsals, workshops and showcase preparation, offering learners consistent access to high-quality facilities throughout their training week.
